About this session

Threat modelers often rely on assumptions, and these are either explicit or implicit, in the minds of the threat modelers, or in the reports and artifacts. These assumptions in practice take on different forms and roles. Building on the findings of existing academic studies on the role of assumptions in threat models, this talk reflects on and emphasizes the importance of assumption management in threat modeling.
